Classic Piano Performer. Born in Riga, Latvia, he received his musical education in Europe and the United States. In 1995 he was awarded a degree in piano performance from Yale University, following studies with Boris Berman and Claude Frank. He won in 1994 the Vittorio Gui International Chamber Music Competition in Florence.
