Father Bernard Rogers

Tasmanian Catholic Priest (died 1982) who was very popular in Tasmania as a recording artist and singer (and violinist) of Irish Popular Music. Father Rogers was born in County Derry, in Northern Ireland and came to Tasmania, Australia in 1947. He worked in the Parishes of Cygnet, Franklin, Zeehan and Kingston before becoming Administrator of St Mary's Cathedral, Hobart.
