A one off Australian studio band.

The project was the brainchild of Luke Peacock, a member of Brisbane Rockhampton country rock band Halfway. Peacock discover an album by indigenous Australian singer Vic Simms. In 2014 he and a crack team of musicians including Paul Kelly, Ed Kuepper, Roger Knox, Bunna Lawrie, The Medics and Rusty Hopkinson) tracked down Uncle Vic to rework songs from his lost classic album, released as The Painted Ladies Play Selections From The Loner.

The album was toured with Peacock, Simms and assorted musicians.
