David P. Rockingham Sr. known by many as “Rock” (b, July 11, 1936 in Waukegan, IL, d, June 30, 2017, in Lake Forest, IL.)
David was the youngest of two children. After graduating from Waukegan High school in 1954, he attended New England Conservatory of Music. Rock went on to travel the country with the “David Rockingham Trio” and his record ranked #62 on the Billboard Top 100 chart in 1963. David also maintained a reputable career at the North Chicago Police Department for 25 years, and retired as a Detective in Internal Affairs in June of 1995.
