Real name: Kenneth Alan James Hawker

Born on born 3 December 1942 in Small Heath, Birmingham, U.K. Died on 2 August 2015 in Cherry Hinton, Cambridge, U.K., from complications associated with diabetes.

He is one of the more successful songwriters of the '60s, especially with his collaborations with John Carter (2). His biggest hit is the 1964 released "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat" by Herman's Hermits. He left the music industry in 1971, suffering from depression.
