Willard Rhodes
American ethnomusicologist (1901, Deshler, Ohio - 15 May 1992, Sun City, Arizona). He was a professor at Columbia University, where he founded the Society for Ethnomusicology, He was an expert on American Indian music and made extensive field recordings between 1939 and 1952.
