"Echo Basement" is a post-rock, post-metal, progressive, band originally formed in Athens, Greece in 2009 and changed name and members until final formation on 2016.
They experiment constantly in post-rock, post-metal and progressive rock music while defined by the several and different musical influences of each band member.
Experimental instrumental songs, long melodic tune, persistences, outbreaks and more are defining Echo’s sound. The band consists of: Charis Razakos (vocals, flute), Dimitris Trakas (guitar), Chris Kremastas (guitar), John Tsoutsas (bass), Chris Kioulos (synths) and Kostas Bessas (drums).
In 2011 they recorded and released their first independent – selftitled- EP, “Stop Rewind Play” and in 2016 they released their first full-length album “Placid”, both with former drummer Angelos Gkiokas.
In 2018 they recorded their 2nd LP "No Form Of Human Government", which was released on September 1st 2019, by "Rudu Records".
