Real name: 永井 仁 / Hitoshi Nagai

Hidekazu Nagai is a Japanese singer and actor born in Tokyo on December 3, 1951.
His father is 永井秀明 (Hideaki Nagai), an actor known for his name villain in a historical drama.
In 1967 he made a singer debut with "夕陽のチャペル" on Victor records.
"恋人と呼んでみたい" became a big hit released in the same year,
and he is awarded the 9th Japan Record Awards the Rookie of the Year award.
However, to concentrate on his studies he retired from the entertainment industry.
After graduating from university, he returned to the entertainment industry and continued acting.
