Sox

Effective period / Period of releases: 1995

Members: Samantha Fox, Lorraine McIntosh, Cris Bonacci

Short-lived British-Australian girl group with Samantha Fox as lead vocalist, guitarist Cris Bonacci (of Girlschool) and Lorraine McIntosh on backing vocals. The group was formed to compete in the UK 1995 Eurovision pre-selection contest with the song "Go For The Heart", finishing 4th out of 8. Despite this, the song was released as a single and became Fox's first single to chart in the UK since the 1980s. The group only released that song and disbanded shortly after. The single was later released around Europe, and in some territories it was released as a Samantha Fox solo song.
