Jean-Marie Magnan Free Music

Jean-Marie Magnan

Canadian singer (bass voice) of the 1910s and 1920s.

Magnan was a member of the Quatuor Octave Pelletier, along with Rodrigue Gauthier, Arthur Lapierre, and Joseph-Henri Thibodeau. Between August 1918 and 1920, they made 10 records for Columbia in New York. On the first two of their releases, they appear as "Canadian Columbia Quartet."

In 1920, these four singers formed the Quatuor Canadien.
