Dan Edward "Bee" Spears was Willie Nelson's longtime bass player who also toured with Waylon Jennings and Guy Clark. Born August 11, 1949 in San Antonio, TX. Died December 8, 2011 as the result of exposure following a fall outside of his motor home near Nashville, TN.
