Aşık Ali Nurşani

Turkish poet and bağlama player born on February 2, 1959 in the village of Keferdiz (now called Sakçagözü). He started playing bağlama at the age of ten, and started writing poems in 1972. He toured with Aşık Mahzuni Şerif and moved to Germany in 1979. He has written around 500 poems and composed 120 songs, which are covered by various other artists.
