Kimono Kult is an American experimental/avant-electronica band established in 2014 by Nicole Turley of Swahili Blonde, co-founder of Neurotic Yell Records, in collaboration with prolific guitarists Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and John Frusciante, Teri Gender Bender on vocals, and several other fellow musicians and bandmates. Turley wrote the lyrics and played most of the instruments on the band's sole release, Hiding In The Light digital EP. Kimono Kult has been dormant since 2014 but wasn't officially disbanded.
