Hailing from New York City, Corrupt Colour is the brainchild of Emily Brooke and Giuseppe Lombardo. The two started making music together in 2015 as school friends, and have been working as creative partners since. They released their first mixtape in the beginning of 2017 after working on it since 2015 after multiple EP's and failed attempts at full albums. In May of 2018, the pair returned with Corrupt Colour & The Capitalist Death Machine, a strange, intimate, but also distant foray into the boldness of contemporary pop music that served as a metaphor for the dissonance between politics and pop culture within the mainstream, borrowing from elements of 80's New Wave and 90's Pop. Corrupt Colour returned in 2019 with their Sophomore LP Polyvinyl Chloride, which saw them explore contemporary sociopolitical issues with a dark, sleek, pop edge.In 2020 Corrupt Colour released the lead single Decay, from their third studio album expected later this year.
