A soccer player and cumbia/cuarteto performer, he gained huge real-life popularity with the songs "Yo Sé" and "Warning (Guarda Que Vengo)", which were originally performed in episodes of the sitcom. A full album was released during its second season, which was certified gold in Argentina. All the songs were mainly written by Martínez and fellow actor Facundo Espinosa (who played Coco in the sitcom)
