Nikolaus Utermöhlen (30 June, 1958, Würzburg, Germany - 17 May, 1996, Berlin, Germany) was a German audio and visual artist who died from AIDS.

Utermöhlen musical activities were followed by an 11-year period as a visual artist. A catalogue of Utermöhlen works has been published in Berlin "Hier zu sein ist so viel weiter Weg als hier zu sein - Bilder 1989 - 1995" (Vice Versa, ISBN 3-932809-05-X, 1998).
