Formed in Middlesborough in 1968 by John Whittingham, initially named Psycle. In late 1971, they made a demo album at SRT Studios in Bedfordshire to showcase their sound (and John's songs), pressing up 99 copies and selling them at gigs.In 1975 they recorded a further two tracks, again unreleased during the bands time.
Cycle recorded another album that was not released until 2020.
