Zydeco and rhythm & blues vocalist, accordionist, and drummer, active in Louisiana and Texas. He started with R&B, recording his first tracks in 1957 with J.D. Miller. In 1960, he recorded for Floyd Soileau's Jin Records as Chuck Martin & The Honey Drippers. In the 1980s, Martin switched to zydeco, and founded his Chuck Martin And The Zydeco Blaze Band.
