U.S. songwriter and singer. Best known for co-writing and winning the Grammy for Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for Kim Carnes' hit "Bette Davis Eyes" with Jackie DeShannon. Originally from Memphis, Weiss had an extensive career as a backing vocalist for artists including Bob Dylan, Al Kooper, Joe Cocker, and Rita Coolidge.
