Real name: Nicoleta Darabană

Nicoleta Darabană (born on 22 May 1993, in Telenești-Moldova), known as stage name Nicoleta Dara or simply Dara, is a pop music singer from the Republic of Moldova. She became known after participating in the national preselection finals of the Republic of Moldova for Eurovision 2012, when she performed the song "Open Your Eyes", occupying 3rd place. She has its own perfume line “Dara – Open Your Eyes”. In 2011 she released her first album titled Unsorted, and in 2014 she entered the top 30 Romanian Airplay Chart with the song „Fie ce-o fi” with Inna, Antonia & Carla's Dreams. She signed with Romanian label Global Records (18) in 2014.
