Swiss group Öz Ürügülü is one of the most original and exciting bands out there today. Citing weird food, old video games, and bad movies as major influences, Öz Ürügülü is a mixed bag of odd styles and approaches. Their music is primarily a fusion of jazz and metal, sounding not unlike Steve Vai much of the time, but they have also incorporated electronica and exotic oriental sounds into their repertoire. Above all, Öz Ürügülü weaves a nonsensical and absurd sense of humour into everything they put out. For those who aren't afraid of letting their music get a little bit silly, Öz Ürügülü offers more than enough creativity to satisfy whatever odd cravings you may have.
