Polish jazz trumpet player, born April 13, 1936 in Warsaw, Poland; died June 15, 2005 in Puławy, Poland.
Father of jazz musicians Robert Majewski and Wojciech Majewski. Founder and leader of the band Old Timers and other jazz bands (Big Band "Stodoła", Swing Session and others). Former president of the Polish Association of Jazz (PSJ), Vice President STOART, director of the Jazz Jamboree.
