The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra (previously known as the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra) is the concert music orchestra of Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), a semi-state company and the national public service broadcaster of Ireland. The orchestra was founded in 1948 and has since been renamed several times:

1948-1961: Radio Éireann Symphony Orchestra (Irish: Ceolfhoireann Shiansach Radio Éireann)
1961-1989: RTÉ Symphony Orchestra (RTESO)
1989-2005: National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland
2005-present: RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra
