Russ Irwin is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Huntington Hills, Long Island, NY. He Studied Music Business and Classical piano for two years at New York University. Then attended the New School to study Jazz Piano. His Teachers included Kenny Werner and Hal Galper. He was signed to SBK Records while at the New School in 1991, and a self-titled album produced by Phil Ramone followed later that year. The album debuted on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and the single "Russ Irwin - My Heart Belongs To You" hit No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. Another song from the album, "I Need You Now", hit No. 36 on the Radio & Records Rock chart.
