Milton Senior

American saxophonist and clarinetist, born c. 1900 in Springfield, Ohio, died. c. 1948.
One of the founding members of the Synco Septet in 1921; William McKinney assumed its leadership and the band was known as the Synco Jazz Band before it became McKinney's Cotton Pickers in 1926. Senior left McKinney in 1928 and in the early 1930 led his own band, which included Art Tatum and Teddy Wilson.
