The Hunt For Ida Wave was a deathcore/metalcore band from Swindon, England. They released a demo and their debut EP 'To Have And To Hold, To Choke Until Cold' on Shave The Area Records, both in 2005. Each member went on to join, or help form, various other deathcore & metalcore bands including I Killed The Prom Queen, Eternal Lord, and Dreaming In Oceans.
