Ron Dini
Canadian country & western broadcaster, musician (guitar, banjo, fiddle, accordion, piano), singer, songwriter, and record company executive from Powell River, British Columbia. He recorded as Rondini, with credits usually to his real name. His record company / label was GIRO and his publishing company was Rondini Pub.
He started his music industry career as an on-air personality at CFCP in Courtney, BC, and then moved to the Pacific Northwest of the USA where he worked at KGAY (Salem, OR), KWYZ (Everett, WA), and KAYO (Seattle, WA). Here in 1968 he appeared on his first record with Bill Garner (3). Next he moved across the country and worked for WJRZ (Hackensack, NJ / NYC) where he released his first solo record in 1970. Finally he moved to WSIX in Nashville, Tennessee where he continued with his recording career in the late-1970s.
