The Suburbs are an alternative rock and roll/funk/new wave band that (true to their name) came out of the western suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota.The band formed in 1977, broke up in 1987, reunited periodically throughout the 90s & 00s for live shows in the Twin Cities area, and finally reunited for good in 2013 with the release of Si Sauvage.
