Aurora wrote music for herself as early as age 9. When she was 16 her song Puppet was (without her consent) uploaded to a streaming website. The song became popular and was noticed by a management company and later officially published under her real name. In 2014, Aurora signed split-territory deals with the labels Petroleum Records, Decca and Glassnote and started releasing her music under her stage name AURORA.
