Avtipus (in Hebrew אַבְטִיפּוּס, literally 'prototype') is an Israeli rock band. The band was formed in the middle of the 1980s, and released its first album in 1995. The band was disbanded after the release of its second album in 1997, and reunited in 2011. Their third album was released in 2015.
