Biography
Paskal Et Les Seigneurs
Members: Rénald Doyon, Robert Bolduc
Originally from Saint-Georges de Beauce, the band made their debut in 1966. It was composed of Ghislain "Paskal" Grenier (vocals), Robert (Bobby) Bolduc (lead guitar), Renald Doyon (bass), Émilien (Steeve) Bergeron (organ) and Michel Gilbert (drums). The band adopted the name "Paskal & les Seigneurs" at the suggestion of their manager, Réjean Rancourt. When the group disbanded, shortly before their only single was released, Mario Poulin and Yvon Poulin replaced Ghislain Grenier and Émilien Bergeron; the band is then called LES SEIGNEURS and will continue its activities for 8 to 12 months. Later with the departure of Mario Poulin and Yvon Poulin, Diane Pomerleau (guitar, vocals) joined the band.
When the latter forfeited, we soon recruited Richard Grenier (bass), the band is now called LES SWITCHS.
