The Idols

Members: Jerry Nolan, Arthur Kane, Barry Jones, Steve Dior
Formed by Jerry Nolan after he left The Heartbreakers in the summer of 1977. They became the backing band for Sid Vicious at his New York gigs. The Idols folded in late 1979. [Steve Dior] and Barry Jones then formed the London Cowboys. Barry Jones later went on to play with Johnny Thunders alongside Jerry Nolan.
