Real name: Mario Molinari

Effective period / Period of releases: 2018 - 2023

Mario Molinari (born February 22nd, 1994), who goes by the name Tedua, is a prominent rapper from Genoa, Italy who first cut his teeth in the rap game as a member of hip-hop collective Wild Bandana, originally calling himself Duate. He released a free mixtape titled Aspettando Orange County in 2015, which marked the start of a trilogy of long-players inspired by TV series The OC. It was promptly followed by the Orange County Mixtape (2016) and his first studio album, the major-label debut Orange County California, which arrived via Universal in January 2017 and was promptly certified gold in his home country. He continued to experience a breakthrough with his Italian-language take on the burgeoning trap and drill subgenres in the late 2010s, with the success of singles like 2016’s “Pugile” and 2017’s “Wasabi 2.0” leading him to ink a new deal with Sony Music Italia ahead of the release of his sophomore album, Mowgli (2018), which topped the national charts. Collaborating with the likes of Fedez and America's Trippie Redd thereafter, he began work on a pair of LPs, released not as a double album but as two separate bodies of work a week apart from one another. Vita vera mixtape and Vita vera mixtape: Aspettando la Divina Commedia both emerged in June 2020, each reaching the number one spot in the Italian charts.
