Indian sitar player and composer, son of Imrat Khan and brother of Irshad Khan, Shafaatullah Khan and Wajahat Khan.
Nishat Khan was born in the mid-1960s in Kolkata. He performed with musicians of the genres jazz, Gregorian chant, flamenco and Western classical music. Khan is based in Beverly Hills, California, and works as a visiting professor at the University of California, Los Angeles.
