The band's name was incorrectly spelled Wrathbone on their sole 7" release. The record pressing company ended up waiving production fees because of that fact.

Under their original name, Freefall (which had more of a hard rock style), several demo and live tracks were recorded in the early '80s which were later made available for download at Bandcamp, including "Vixen Smiles", "Cast a Spell", "It Isn't Me", "I Recall a Time", Beware the Night", and "Taking Off".

The band Cold Fire, which was put together by two Wrathborne and two Warrior members in 1987 (and would later see Nick Menza replace drummer Liam Jason) contributed the song "Of the Flesh" to the 1990 Rock Climbers compilation.
