Adriano Souza
Adriano Souza (Rio de Janeiro, May 22, 1973) is a Brazilian pianist, trained in harmony and perception by CIGAM (Ian Guest Center for Musical Improvement).Between shows and recordings, he worked with several artists from MPB and instrumental music, including: Leny Andrade, Orlando Moraes, Durval Ferreira, Carlos Lyra, Pery Ribeiro, Carol Saboya, Danilo Caymmi, Ney Matogrosso, Bibi Ferreira, Leila Pinheiro, Beth Carvalho, Nelson Sargento, Joyce Moreno, Paulinho da Viola, Eduardo Neves and Hélio Delmiro.
For 5 years he joined the band of singer Emílio Santiago, with whom he recorded the live CD “Só danço samba”, which won the Latin Grammy 2012 in the category of best samba album.
