Biography
Eddy Marron
Eddy Marron (born June 24, 1938, in Anklam, Pommern; died February 6, 2013) moved to Heidelberg and Mannheim at 14 to study guitar.
Wanting to move away from jazz and explore new styles, he and Sylvester Levay formed the innovative Vita Nova in 1971. A further step into hybrid Krautrock with Dzyan gave him total freedom of expression and invention. Moving back towards jazz with the trio Giger.Lenz.Marron, he also recorded a surprisingly introspective album of light jazz and ethnic spiced solo guitar recordings.
