Hermanas Saldaña

The Saldaña sisters were by 1957 the youngest professional duo in the world; Olga Maria (Paquita) and Delicia (Niña), born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia would sing popular tunes on radio and TV and by 1960 they started recording in Brazil and later in the US into the 1970s.One of their songs entitled "Jumechi" denounces, in some way, sexist violence in the context of his time.
