APOTEOM is a brazilian group that practices Modern Thrash/Groove Metal formed in the city of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, in the year 2010. The band started as a project in Caçapava do Sul in 2007, with the friends Pedro Ferreira and Mauricio Tôrres, with the aim of work on their own songs, combining weight and melody.
On November 21, 2010, already with the complete formation, the band begins the rehearsals and the selection of songs to record the first album.
In 2012 APOTEOM made several shows in Rio Grande do Sul, and recorded the first album entitled "Alienation". The album will be released at the end of the second semester of 2013, still with no defined date, through MS Metal Records that decided to bet all his chips in this new revelation of the Brazilian heavy music, guaranteeing the distribution of the material in the main specialized stores and MegaStores of Brazil through of Voice Music.
In the year 2014 the band focused on the shows in support of the above work.
In 2016, APOTEOM is preparing to release its second album of unpublished, titled "Paper God", and that will be made available in Brazil through MS Metal Records.
After the release of "Paper God", the group performed some concerts, more concentrated in southern Brazil, until returning to the composition process of their newest work, the single "Beautiful Lies", released in more than one hundred online platforms in 2018.
