British classical flautist and professor of flute. Born December 26, 1987 in Retford, Nottinghamshire, England, UK.
He graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2009 and shortly thereafter he was appointed Principal Flute of the London Symphony Orchestra at the age of 21, a position he held until 2020. In 2017, he was appointed Professor of Flute at the Royal College of Music, London. In 2018, he founded the Orsino Ensemble, a wind group, at the Aldeburgh Festival.
