Myriam Eduardo

Brazilian singer from Teresina, Piauí; performer chosen by Cinéas Santos and Erisvaldo Borges to give life to the Teresina Hymn, an official and almost mandatory song in all events and ceremonies of the city and state government in the capital. Married to Fernando Conde, former member of the group also from Piauí, Ensaio Vocal.
Today the successful singer in the 90s, switched stages for the National Congress, lives in Brasília, and was a parliamentary advisor to Senator Elmano Férrer (PTB) in 2015.

Myriam's career started in mid-89 when she performed at the Pacatuba bar, in downtown Teresina. At 18, Myriam played small shows and performed where she was invited.
In 1993 after winning the Piauí phase of the Canta Nordeste festival, organized by Rede Globo, Myriam went on to compete in the semifinals, but did not pass. In 1994 she won again in Teresina, with the song "Um Violeiro, Uma Viola e Um Luar", the singer took second place with her music and won the contest as an interpreter, which gave her prominence throughout the Northeast of the country.
The following year she recorded the CD "Sentidos" and went to Rio de Janeiro.
She was hired by the band Biquini Cavadão and started to travel around the country. At the end of two years of work with the band, Myriam joins Danilo Caymmi, with whom she worked for two years.
Currently she had to leave the music in the background and she remembers the success of contemporary artists as his "dear friends of the vocal rehearsal": Paulo Aquino, Aurélio Melo, Luiza, Andréa, Cruz Melo (composer), Carol, Rosinha Amorim, Laurenice França, Zé Dantas, Julio Medeiros and Geraldo Brito.
