Daughter of Stanley Lupino. Married to actor Louis Hayward (2) (1938-1945, divorced). Her third husband was actor Howard Duff (1951-1984, divorced). The latter can rightly be considered, just like Dorothy Azner and Lina Wertmüller, as one of the most important directors in the history of cinema with works such as Outrage (1950), The Hitch-Hiker (1953), The Bigamist (1953).
