Alessia Martegiani

Italian singer who started early with studying the piano, then specialized in Brazilian music sounds and vocal styles (bossa nova and samba), later taking part in several seminars about improvised jazz forms, with teachers such as Jay Clayton, John Taylor (2) or Anthony Jackson. In Italy, she has played in / with several groups / musicians and released her first album as band leader in 2006 on the Wide Sound label, with the Brazilian inspired band Trem Azul, founded together with Massimiliano Coclite and Bruno Marcozzi.
