Jasmine Guffond's first band was a drums, bass and guitar trio called BA-KA, and she later played bass in the electronic/rock group Alternahunk. Before founding Minit with Torben Tilly in Sydney in 1997. Guffond was a member of improvised ambient electronic duo Hiss (2). She has released solo music under her own name on the Sonic Pieces (Yellow Bell, 2015 / Traced, 2017), Karl Records (Degradation Loops, 2018 ) and Editions Mego (Microphone Permission, 2020) labels.
