The UK based The New Iberia Stompers were essentially a happy band, moving seamlessly from one line-up to the next, always with the nucleus of Tony O'Sullivan (trumpet and vocal),Mike Casimir (trombone) and Terry Wood (banjo and guitar.)
Rod Chambers (alto sax), Chris Satterly (piano), Brian Turnock (string bass) and Paul Russell (drums) were part of the band on several occasions; see i.a. The New Iberia Stompers - Live Sessions - 1981 & 1982
For many years the band was a regular guest at the London's iconic 100 Club.
