A hardcore band formed in Japan in 2005 under the name Against One’s Well. In 2007 Ryuichi Iwasaki left the band, and the band’s name was changed to AOW. They performed with this line up, as a three piece without a bass, until 2009 when Yuichi Takada , Masaichiro Kumita (from Orion), Junji (from Anti Social Student), and Naoya Takeda provided support bass. Ryuichi Iwasaki, who had left the band, also provided support bass. In 2010 Naoya Takeda officially joined the band on bass. At the end of 2011, the guitarist Daichi left the band, and Jyunji officially joined as the new guitarist.
