The album "Disconnection" (1977) by the eponymous group Disconnection, is actually an obscure and rare disco album by Robert Holmes, who wrote, performed, and produced all the tracks on it, with a completely dancefloor-orientated group of high-stepping disco groove and boogie-heavy funk tracks.

Many tracks were vocalised by unnamed singers, especially as the album is mostly an instrumental anyway, with many tracks having keyboard solos, and a distinctly 1960s Italian soundtrack style in places.
