WORLD.DOWN was formed in 1998 in Erfurt / Germany and the story ended in 2006.
Broad consent of the band was – ROCK!
Huge influences were Hardcore, Metal, and Punk as well as Rock’n’Roll.

Most songs are/were melodic and with catchy tunes.
Also it has been proved to speed up songs, if needed.
The melodic music was supported by the harsh voice of the singer Christian which reminded to bands such as Gorefest, and here and there Hot Water Music.
In combination with backup vocals by Mathias and Stefan the melodic and punk influences couldn't be denied.

The band released officially one album as well as a Split-EP with Friends Suck.
