Real name: Bert Willis Karlsson

Born: June 21, 1945 in Mariestad, Västergötland, Sweden, but had his upbringing some 20 kilometres away in Tidan.
Founder and former owner of Mariann Grammofon AB, from 1972 to 2006, and hosted the Fame Factory TV talent show for 4 seasons.
Karlsson is also known in Sweden as politician: In 1991-94 Karlsson was a Member of (Swedish) Parliament for the New Democracy and has since then been associated with both the Social Democratic and Liberal parties.
