In 1998, Aki released a twelve-inch called "Cavern" (under the alias of Mapholova) through Thomas P. Heckmann's Trope imprint in Germany, and three years later remixed Little Nobody for the Australian "Reaction Hero" compilation, alongside Si Begg and Tobias Schmidt.
Since then Aki has helmed innumerable parties including the more recent Zoology, Zentropa and Zu-Zushii gigs, in collaboration with IF? Records, at Bullets in Nishiazabu.
In his role as a producer he uses a Mac, DDA console, Roland synthsizer, Akai sampler, and effects.
